Before you give up a day
How many machines do I need for a fleet audit?
Five or more at one site. Below that the travel is not shared, and a single pre-purchase inspection at ₹6,000 is the right service instead.
How long does a fleet audit take?
A day on site for five to eight machines, and the ranked report follows within three working days. The machines must be available and cold at the start of the day, which usually means arranging it around a Sunday or a shutdown.
What do I actually get at the end?
Each machine graded A–E with its deferred cost, then all of them ranked against each other: what to repair now, what to repair at the next service, what to sell before it costs more than it earns, and what each machine is worth today.
Will this tell me what to charge for hire?
Not directly — we grade condition, not your commercial rates. But knowing which three machines carry your deferred cost usually changes which ones you put on long hires and which you keep close.
